Wycliffe Bible Translators
David and Denise Moore are serving as Field Coordinators in Eastern Indonesia with the Wycliffe Bible Translators Global Partnerships’ team. They are helping to provide support and assistance for a number of different translation projects via a remote assignment based out of Hillsboro. David traveled to Indonesia twice last year including a trip with Denise and their son Daniel to help celebrate the dedication of the Dobel language New Testament. They took with them over 300 Seed Players, audio devices with the Dobel New Testament on them.
In partnership with individuals, local churches and language communities around the world, Wycliffe Bible Translators is helping to facilitate Bible translation so that God can bring about transformation in the lives of individuals and whole communities, through His Word. Most languages have some Scripture, or work has begun, but the process is not fast. Seeing Bible translation work start is important, but even more important is continuing through to completion and seeing both the process and the product bring about transformation is why we are involved in the work of Bible translation.
