Laurel Church is governed by a Board of Elders who "are responsible to the Lord to lead, educate, provide spiritual oversight to, and pray for the congregation".
The governing structure also includes The Diaconate, spiritual leaders who "are responsible to the Lord, under the direction of the Elder Board, for the management of the ministries of the church". Laurel Church Constitution
